LawBoost is an effective three-day online course for entering law students seeking to develop a strong foundation in legal analysis and IRAC writing skills. LawBoost provides assignments of the complexity used in the first-semester of law school to provide instruction on writing effectively in law school. The course offers students the opportunity to perform four writing assignments and to have three of those assignments critiqued by a law professor. Two of the assignments focus specifically on IRAC. Through the extensive feedback students receive on their LawBoost assignments they learn what will be expected of them in law school.

This course is conducted by email over a three-day period. Each day students receive a transcript which provides a written lecture on a topic regarding the foundations of law school legal writing. Each transcript also discusses an assignment that must be submitted within twenty-four hours. For students who have questions, the telephone number and email address of a law professor are provided.

Students registering for LawBoost are required to do a significant amount of pre-course preparation that takes at least a couple of days to perform properly. For this reason, do not expect to register for the course and begin it the next day. The course fee is $250, or $200 with the coupon code.
